Next

Today I am attending a birthday party, (HAPPY 11TH ISABELLA) so I can’t cook dinner today, but i will mix the cheese into the noodles for lunch.

Don’t get to disappointed about it though, my next big project will be:
steamed mussels, in a white wine broth.

Doesn’t that sound good? You should try it if you haven’t already, but if you don’t like it, like, barfbarf, well, I won’t put too much pressure on you.

So, you can be looking forward for that.

Trip to the village

to finish off my look, i bought a pearl necklace and an apron from value village.

the beginning has started

this morning I started my voyage of cooking by preparing a poached egg, like in the movie.

it turned out perfect, and guess what, i enjoyed making it!!!

that must be some kind of sign that I love cooking.
I will post a picture of it soon, and of all of my other successful, and not so successful meals , desserts, and appetizers.

Julie and Julia

all of my life I have enjoyed two things the most, music, and eating. For instance, I am obsessed with the piano, and one day when I was young my mother asked me what my hobby was, and I said, “EATING!”

Today I saw the new movie, “Julie and Julia,” and I recommend it if you absolutely LOVE food.

Anyways, at one point in this movie, I was inspired to live a cooking life, HECK! I love to cook and eat and all of that stuff, so why should I not live my dream?

starting this summer, I will begin a new part of my life, starting with the basics, like, “The Fannie Farmer Cookbook.” It is sitting here with me on my desk, I haven’t even opened it yet.

I hope by the time school gets out in december I’ll be saying, ” Cooking was meant for me, I LOVE IT”

Well, I will be blogging about it throughout my experience. I will move on to julia’s recepies later, don’t worry

so, bon appetit…
